The technical specifications for the Protecks Electronic Ear Protection system are as follows:

The graph above right shows the performance characteristics of the electronic amplifier circuitry within the headphones. Click on the small image of the graph to see a larger version. The left hand side of the graph shows that the circuitry is operating normally and that human speech can be heard quite clearly as if the user wasn't wearing headphones.
The right hand side of the graph shows that after a noise greater than 70db is detected the circuitry shuts down within 80us (80 millionths of a second) and blocks out the noise, protecting the hearing of the user.
Protecks Electronic Ear Protection headsets are manufactured in the UK by MRP Electronics at their State of the Art facility in Bedford. MRP Electronics are BSI approved to ISO9001:2000
All units are manufactured using state of the art surface mount technology and inspected using PC driven automatic inspection equipment.
